so we love the refrigerator. but the ice make is no good. weve had it worked on 5 times. ive now run out of free repairs. had to resultto buying a counter ice maker due to refrigerator is not working. no fix.spent so much money please be fully worned this is màjor issue.

each feature of this fridge we enjoy includes the tablet to search for recipes or music or videos while you are occupied in the kitchen.
the freezer is adequate, unfortunately, we have to use the freezer space to keep bagged ice. the reason, the ice maker is horrible.
the ice maker constantly frosts up into a block of ice. even when cleared of the frost, the ice maker gets clogged with ice freezing to itself instead of ejecting. i have sealed up the chamber and somehow, moist air is still getting into the icemaker to cause the frost. and yes, it is out of warranty and extended warranty. don't know why suddenly it started to frost over. just have to live with it and break down and have a technician try to fix it.

my parents bought this fridge for us as a wedding gift. last year. we loved it right away but 7 days later, it turned off on us. we contacted support and they told us that it was in cooling mode which it was. we followed all directions and turned it back on. 7 days after the same issue and so on. at that point, samsung told us that it could be various things but they didn't resold this issue. we have been living with this issue for the past year or so where we have to shut it down and turn it back on every week or it will spoil our food. horrible experience and we still have not gotten this issue resolved.

We bought this fridge and within 30 days it is broken. Spend nearly $4K and you expect the thing to at least work for the first month we have it. Called and wanted to complain to a higher up with ZERO response back.

Great fridge, except the ice maker keeps icing over and then ice won't make. Avoid SAMSUNG refrigerators with this design. They will not cover the cost to repair.

Purchased this product and I love the touch pad and the apps it has. Recipes on my fidge is a easy reference when we are cooking and the flexibility of the flex zone is amazing. I recommend this product to everyone with kids in the house. My grand daughter love the word of the day so it's also an educational tool for your kids also.

We purchased this fridge four months ago and we have been happy with it. We normally prefer Samsung's four door design but opted for French door because of height limitation in our kitchen. That being said, French door drawers exceeded our expectation in terms of usability. The family hub was easy to setup and has very nice features. Although we don't use it as often as I thought I still think it was worth the price difference.

I am having a hard time writing this review because I want it to be believable. This fridge honestly has very few flaws. My family could only find two small negatives. One being the stainless steel not really being finger print resistant. This is a minimal issue considering I obsess over this fridge and am crazy about keeping it clean. The second being the water dispenser. Since the spout is closer to the front we have found that some cups don't fit right and you will get sprayed. Now on to the good. The amount of space is fantastic and they managed to make every nook and cranny practical and usable. I love the extra drawer to put things I want my kids to have easy access to! The freezer is also a great use of space and can easily hold a Costco trip worth of food for our large family. The Family Hub screen is everything you never knew you wanted. I love being able to plan my week, assign my kid's chores, pin things to Pinterest, and so much more right from my fridge. It has helped my family stay organized and have better communication with my husband who works crazy hours. The Samsung refrigerator has all the gadgets you will fall in love with while still being a very usable and practical addition to any kitchen.

I got this refrigerator installed on 10/11/2018. The water dispenser and ice maker didn't work during installation and still not working as of today. The handle on the Flex drawer came completely loose last night. Samsung sending service rep to look at issue. Samsung reps trying to help with these issues but personally, I am very frustrated to have these issues on a brand new refrigerator even before starting to use it. Not very happy to have repairs done on a brand new refrigerator

This refrigerator is perfect for a growing family who requires space for weekly shopping trips and at times leftovers. This appliance is well designed with a two-drawer freezer on the bottom. Because there are two drawers it's easy to see what you have or place more delicate items in the top drawer. The top French doors open to a large area with a well-designed interior with plenty of shelf door space. It's easy to see and plan weekly meals. And yes, a large pizza box can easily be placed on any of the shelves. The flex drawer is great for party planning or pre-prepared meals for school or work lunches. There is so much technology incorporated into this appliance. The refrigerator is well lit by the led lighting and the cameras are helpful during shopping trips. Do we have any milk left? Did I remember to pull the steak out of the freezer? The tablet embedded in the door is great for a family to share schedules on the included calendar application and having Bixby available to add items to my shopping list or even to ask questions about recipes or anything in general. I have many times planned my weekend using the weather report I obtained from my refrigerator. This is a high-end appliance and one I will enjoy using for years to come.

I replaced a 12yo model we had and wow, the 28cu. ft. was really needed for our growing pre-teen kids. This fridge is large and just barely made it through the front door. (I had to remove our front door so that it cleared) It was really easy to setup and works very well. It's very bright inside with the LED lighting. The flex door comes in really handy for our deli meats and cheese. It makes it easier for the kids to make a sandwich without having to open the big door every time. It has a very deep freezer with plenty of room on the top drawer and has a door pocket for smaller items. The ice maker works and supplies the usual cubed and crushed ice and water. It doesn't seem to take too much room in the fridge. There's still plenty of space on the door with the ice dispenser for small items and the other door has gallon bins on them. We use the touch screen to make a shopping list that get's sent to my phone. It made my trip to the market so much faster since I didn't have to call my wife several times to ask what else was needed. She was able to update the list as I was on my way to the market. Another great feature is being able to look into the fridge (not the freezer) and see what you have inside while you're out. The items I crossed off from my shopping list stay in a reminder list with expiration dates based on when I crossed it off. It sends me a reminder when certain products might be expired which is really cool. I'm able to play (Pandora and iHeart Radio) from it and stream the audio to my Bluetooth speaker. I can stream from my Samsung TV over to my fridge, for example, a cooking show that you had recorded on your DVR can be played back to your fridge. A feature that I also liked was that we can send notes from the screen, for example, I needed my son to do an errand and from my phone I wrote a message that came up on the screen on the fridge. My son also loves to draw pictures, so he is always drawing images on it. One thing that I noticed was that the front doors aren't magnetic, so you can't stick anything to it, but the sides you can. For my kid's accomplishments from school, instead of sticking them to the fridge, I take a picture of it and sent it to the fridge to display. I don't have any real issues with it other than it leaves some finger prints and that sometimes I notice that the screen doesn't time out and have noticed that it was on overnight. I guess time will tell if this will cause any screen burn in down the road.

I am in love with this fridge as its huge and has great features. I like how I can browse youtube on it or listen to music. I loved the Bixby feature which answers your questions. I have put up my pictures on the fridge which gives it a very customized feeling. I like how the storage is huge and love the deli tray as that where my chicken and meat goes. Only thing I do not like about this fridge as the French doors don't close on their own and we have to press the doors hard to shut it.Well at least there is an alarm when the doors are not properly shut so you know they didn't shut properly. I wish the door had more storage to keep the paper cartons of milk. There is not much place for high cartons or packages in the inside shelves. Overall I love product as it fulfills its purpose of a huge fridge and has lovely lcd features to use. Also we can download their app to see what is inside the fridge when we are out of home.

My 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door with 21.5 in. Connected Touch Screen Family Hub™ Refrigerator is about as good as it gets for refrigerators. For just the simplicity of the basics, it is large and has a great amount of storage space. It cools completely and remains that way with little or no effort. (My electricity bill went down $30 this past month). Its bright inside both the fridge and the freezer. We had reservations about the size of the ice maker, but this family of 4 from Arizona, has no issues. It makes the ice almost twice as fast as my old fridge despite the smaller reservoir. The water reservoir is just as great as my daughter will attest. Playing soccer 5-6 nights a week, she has no issues with ice or water coming out being cold and plenty of it. The freezer seems small at first, but is anything but that. I have boxes of breakfast items and snacks loaded in to it and there is still a lot of room for chicken, pork, beef and so on. The hub is the brains of this unit and is extremely both easy to use and helpful at the same time. I can look in the fridge/freezer, see what I have, and then use a pre-installed app to give me an idea my options for dinner. We use the whiteboard app for notes to one another, Pandora to play music, Tasty for recipes, and so on. At any given time I can see into the fridge if I forget to check before going to the store. (That includes seeing the dates on milk and what not for expiration). Could not be happier with the pre-loaded apps that come with this and excited for anything else that comes down the line in the future. Overall, we had been looking at this fridge for the past 2 years and are so thankful that we bought it. It really is a great product from Samsung, ( A company 5 years ago you would say had no business tobe in the fridge market). Today, a totally different story. COuld not be happier!!!!
