Wonderful setup, but...

this refrigerator hits all the high points, great looking, wonderful cooling, modular and customizable. also, the screen is great for me, not so much for those that don't want their refrigerator to tell them what to make for dinner. one glaring downside - the screen/speaker lets you know when the door was left open. which is so common compared to other units tested. i'm constantly getting alerts on my phone (neat gimmick) and tones in the house letting me know that the door was left open....again. very dissatisfying.

Horrible Build Quality

just had this for over a year and surprise surprise right when warranty expired. issues were discovered. for all those that have this model, i encourage you to check out the door alignment as you will unlikely have a tight seal. in additional the seals are weak and can leak too. i am on my 2nd set of seal within a year too. look at my photos. the 2 blue dots you see is light shinning through the seal (air gap). customer support was not helpful unfortunately. couldn't even warranty their own warrantied service.

Touchscreen becomes unresponsive

all the samsung family hub refrigerators have been experiencing touchscreen unresponsiveness. after the last samsung update, my family hub screen doesn't register touch input. after resetting the screen by power cycling, it works for about a minute then stops and just shows the pictures. i do not recommend any family hub refrigerator.

We love everything about this unit. The Family Hub is very convenient and its nice to have a receipt right in front of you, all while listening to some music. I would give it 5 stars but it does not connect to Google Nest, so our camera and thermostat system is not at our finger tips.

XPO delivery refused to deliver

I was looking forward to the refrigerator I thought I got a great price for it. But unfortunately XPO the delivery service for Samsung would never deliver the refrigerator. We are on week four still waiting for delivery when the refrigerator is at their warehouse. I had to cancel the order unfortunately.

I was hesitant to but a counter depth for fear of losing capacity. Wrong. This refrigerator is just as big. Is super efficient. Cooling throughout works amazing. The smart screen is addictive and quickly become part of the family process. And... It looks awesome. Highly recommended!

Money gone in drain, did not receive anything!!!

i ordered the smart hub refrigerator on samsung.com on october7th. everything good,paid full,got delivery date,got mail from xpo that they will bring it to home on october 9th. fst forwd to 9th october, delivery guys arrive at home and in my front porch unbox the refrigerator,as they unboxed,they found a dent on right side and informed me. i refused to take delivery and they took it back. since it was saturday, they told nothing would be done over weekend and someone will contact on monday.calling eversince and no status yet.

you can't do nothing with a beautiful refrigerator than in less than 2 years the freezer keeps over freezing. the stainless steel rusts yes!!! i have rust spots on the outside. fingerprint proof thats a lie. hard to get the fingerprints off. the handles start getting loose and the plastic cheap caps keep falling off the ends. the rubber plastic around the doors start ripping. the 2 bottom freezer draws get stuck & get off track! cheap plastic! you can't watch tv because it glitches. i wouldn't recommend even if it were for free.

I deeply regret purchasing this refrigerator directly from the manufacturer. the hub constantly shows offline, the flex drawer temperature does not adjust, the refrigerator is extremely loud and noisy, the door shelves are extremely small, the refrigerator shelves do not adjust, water leaking on the floor from the fridge.... I could go on and on...

Bought it for our new home and so far it has been really good. The Family Hub is a very nice addition to the kitchen and I think it will eventually be very helpful with our daily tasks. The only thing that I find different from previous refrigerators is that I find this one to be a little less deep than others, having less interior space. I would have to compare specs to see if it's true or just my perception.

I love it and it is so much fun to play with!!! I got it all set up and now use it to control lights in the house and my new Samsung stove. I watch videos on it why cooking or play my music as well. The speaker on this fridge sounds AMAZING for a fridge. If you don't have it yet get it. I recommend the flex draw as well it is great to get your everyday things without having to open up the fridge keeping it nice and cold.

Not our first choice fridge we wanted the four-door flex (which was back ordered due to COVID-19 ) this was our second choice. I do like the fridge will let you know if a door is not closed all the way music and screen mirroring is pretty cool. (Which screen mirroring was more compatible with other non-Samsung devices) We would also like it more if the shelves were designed to hold more. Our last counter depth fridge held two extra cubic feet and felt like a full depth fridge this fridge feels like a counter depth fridge.

Cool features and modern design

We've had this fridge for about a week now and really like the modern look it adds to our kitchen. I was nervous about the smaller volume for counter depth size but the layout and flexibility with the adjustable shelves make it just as functional as our previous full-sized fridge. The speaker is surprisingly powerful with good sound quality. The technology features built into the family hub make it the focal point of our kitchen and perfect to keep up with our family of 5.

Great features and storage options

We bought this several months ago and although I haven't fully discovered the potential of the computer and display system I love the overall effect and possibilities. A great modern alternative to the cork board and much more. Still getting used to ability to store tall items with the standard configuration but that may come down to operator error and the need to configure shelving to suit our personal needs

Looks beautiful. It's a center piece of our kitchen. I wish the touch screen family hub runs on regular Android with google play for apps. There are under 20 apps total you can get out of it. A glorified digital picture frame.

Have had this refridgerator for just over 6 months now, it's beautiful and I love the smart features. My biggest complaint is the ice maker has a small capacity and I need to do a bit of tetris to fit everything.

Our Favorite Appliance for our New Home!!

This Samsung Refrigerator is amazing we love it. The design & finish is super sleek & modern...& the Crushed Ice / Cubed Ice easy access dispenser on the front left door is super convenient. The filtered water on the front left door is one of our favorite features. The water tastes great & saves us a ton of money on purchasing cases of bottled water as we have in the past. The HUGE LED Screen is insane & my personal favorite feature. It's a full onboard touch-screen computer that connect wirelessly to your signal in just minutes. We have family pix uploaded on the screen, & the "motion" / "video" screensavers such as the beach, the sky, the rain & the stars are a really nice touch. We can play music on the fridge, use the internet, view the interior contents of what's inside, create & edit grocery lists, & the computer even connects to our cable for an extra TV in the kitchen. The interior is spacious & organized really well. The shelving is adjustable & many shelves fold up as well to accommodate larger sized groceries. The Flex Drawer is also a great feature for organizing additional items like Yogurts, Cold cuts, string cheese & small dinner roll tubes. The freezer is spacious as well with two deep drawers that offer plenty of room & easy access to all items. We highly recommend this Samsung Smart Refrigerator....it's changed the entire look & feel of our kitchen. Enjoy!

I've not had any real issues at all. Love my fridge! It does knock and make some noises from the ice maker (which, knock on wood, has been doing nicely). Other than that I love it. And the family hub is great to upload pics of the kids/grandkids. Great sound too.
