Never Worked from the Beginning

Got a lemon 5/9/2023

I purchased my fridge in Nov of 22. It started with problems late January. A tech could not come out till the beginning of March. No problem I was patient. After the ice maker couldnt be repaired after service calls the freezer went out. It has been about 3 - 5 service calls and the unit is not working. Management still has not contacted me about a return or replacement.

after a few months the main ice maker gets stopped up and you have to remove the bin to push the ice down. The craft ice maker is very cool but only makes 3 balls in 24 hours then it stopped working two months ago. Ive opened 4 support cases and LG keeps closing the case each time. The support is bad

Love the fridge love the drawer love the craft ice. Drawer is a game changer. However drawer rollers are VERY loud. Upper ice capacity is low. The outside surface quality is awful So many dents within the first year. Never had one a dent in our previous 10 yr old fridge.

We bought this refrigerator over a year ago and have had more than 6 repair visits. First the compressor stops working we lost most of the food and it took nearly 3 months to replace. Then the lower freezer tracks had an issue an our food thawed. It took 2 visits to repair. Then the lower ice maker stops working and now both ice makers are not working after multiple service calls. Poor quality

Ive had mine for a year and a half and will be calling for service on the ice makers for the third time. Its ridiculous. The craft one works for 3 months and then starts pouring water in the tray and the top ice maker leaks water inside the fridge. I so regret this purchase.

Great features for the price

I bought this new refrigerator a few weeks ago to replace a similar LG refrigerator that was about 10 years old still running great just upgrading. I love the convertible drawer and we love the craft ice more than we thought we would. The printproof stainless steel really does look better than the old stainless steel on our old LG refrigerator. Love this fridge but craft ice maker = PROBLEMS

Had this for a year now and the craft ice maker was very noisy THEN it stopped working all together. Trying to get a repair/replacement has taken over two months now. Been happy with a couple of other repairs we had to get due to damage before delivery. This current repair was scheduled and then the authorized LG repair company said the repair was finished when they never even showed up at our house. This prevented us getting the repair finished in a timely manner. Very disgusted.

I love this fridge so far. The reason I rated only 4 stars is it came with a small dent and some scratches. But I love the craft ice. I love the French doors and the extra drawer. My daughter says its her drawer and thinks it is really special. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and so far the ice works great. I live in Florida so we use a lot of ice and we have plenty once it was got up and running. It has plenty of room for everything. I would definitely recommend this fridge.

Unbelievable capacity for a 36 fridge

I recently downsized from a large home to a modestly sized townhouse with a much smaller kitchen. Strapped for space I did some online research ultimately deciding to replace the existing 20 cu.ft. 36 refrigerator with LGs impressive 30 cu.ft LRMXS3006S and I couldnt be happier Its a full 50 larger than my original fridge and yet - impossibly - its only 3 deeper so it doesnt dominate my small kitchen. Everything fits beautifully in this marvel of modern engineering and the contents are accessible and easy to find. My new LG has so much room to spare even my turkey roaster or an extra large tray of lasagna are accommodated with the greatest of ease The Full Convert drawer is very handy easily changing from a wine cooler to an auxiliary freezer meat locker or deli case. I never knew I needed Craft Ice until I tried it and now I cant think of a cold beverage without it. Its a real conversation starter too You really need to see this fridge to believe it and Im sure youll be as impressed and pleased as I am.

It is taking me a while to get used to how quiet it is. I love the drawer that can be part of the refrigerator or part of the freezer. I always need more room in the freezer. It very attractive. Im getting lots of ice. I like crushed ice and its great. It is fast and perfect. No leaks. Im very happy with this refrigerator. I have an LG dishwasher. Ive had it for a long time and it is still working perfectly. When it is time to get a new one Ill buy another LG.

We love this refrigerator this biggest issue is the craft ice maker. It worked great for about 4 months and then the problems started. We purchased a extended warranty and they cant seem to find parts to fix our craft ice maker so no we have only the regular ice maker working. This is a lot of money for a refrigerator and not have the craft ice working.

Love the middle sandwich drawer and ice maker

I bought this huge fridge especially for its middle medium temp drawer. I keep my cheeses and sandwich meat here. It keeps them well organized the correct temperature and we dont keep opening the big doors. The other thing that all these refrigerators have had to endure is a bad rap for their ice-makers. I have found that if you use them consistently then the freeze-thaw cycle that usually plugs them up will not melt the ice into a clog. I love the ease with which I can open the ice-maker and unclog it or empty it. The fridge compressor went out after only 4 years of use but the company sent a repairman and it was replaced for free. Apparently they had a bad batch of compressors and they made good on their warranty. Just be aware of the issue before the warranty times out.

Beautifully flawed

10 months ago I treated my family to a new refrigerator as my 20 year old LG was having issues. I shortly began having temperature related issues with the brand new one. Five service visits and multiple part replacements including compressors valves and ice makers later I am still having temperature issues and an unacceptable noise level. I called LG last week to schedule another repair and yet again I wait. The promised text message with appointment date never recieved. At what point does LG take responsibility for this and replace my refrigerator. I gave it 2 stars because WHEN it works properly it is everything you could want in a refrigerator. It is beautiful and well designed the LG repair folks are top notch love the craft ice when it isnt melted together and I am still a diehard LG appliance fan. In short ...buyer beware and buy insurance
